2011-13 Director, Arts and Crafts
Acted as Director of the Arts and Crafts Facility. Featured in the Diversions magazine for Europe (above) promoting Arts and Crafts offerings for The U.S. Department of Defense, MWR division (Morale, Welfare & Recreation) serving a community of over 10,000 members and Soldiers in Europe. Roles: sourcing, buying, logo design and community announcements for marketing, façade and interior design, creating programs and custom services for: framing, engraving, paint your own pottery, embroidery and safety training and educational classes. (Facility closed, website no longer active.)
2002-06 Product Designer and Developer
Acted as Product Developer and Designer for Cape Craftsmen (wholesaler) and Welcome Home (retailer) plus featured in the Home Accents Today magazine for the High Point Furniture Market (above). Created their exclusive custom sign program including: decorative resin plaque artwork, sliders, hand painted samples, specs, medal displays, packaging, marketing graphics and retail store displays and signage. Additional roles: Project Manager, Trend and Art Licensing programs for hard and soft goods. (The company closed, website no longer active.)
